ANATOLIA - TURKEY

Turkey is an extraordinary mixture of the Middle East and Europe and this composition makes the country an exciting and attractive destination. In Turkey you can find plenty of attractions, and there are fine opportunities to practice outdoor activities like water sports and mountain hiking.

Excavations in Ephesus, which are by far the largest in Turkey, began during the 1800s, although only a fraction of the area, has been uncovered. An optimum tour of Ephesus including the the visit of the the magnificent and carefully rebuilt Celcius Library situated at the end of the great so-called marble street. Near Ephesus you see also the modest remains of one of the ancient world's seven wonders, and the great temple of Artemis.
